Help me give my students better access to virtual learning opportunities to allow them to access their education.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Mata's classroom raised $442
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are elementary school students in special education and general education classrooms with disabilities such as autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and sensory processing disorder. They face many challenges during each school day and want to be as independent as possible, just like any other kid!
I strive to find ways that my students can be successful throughout their day, while promoting their independence and building their self-esteem.
My Project
This project will help my students access the virtual learning opportunities that are now necessary due to COVID-19. It provides multisensory and engaging ways to learn new material and continue to master their skills. iPads are a great way to motivate students to learn when traditional methods are not being used due to the social distancing and safety precautions in place at school. Giving my students access to this technology will help them to be able to continue with participating in school even if it looks a little different than previous years.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
