My Students

“One of the most powerful ways to engage students is to let them take charge of their own learning.”

In our classroom, we work hard as a team to come together to create an environment that is safe, comfortable, and engaging.

My students are a group of leaders. All of my students have a strong desire to stay engaged and challenged with new learning strategies and they love to learn. My students also love to read. They choose books over technology as often as possible.

Each child in my classroom comes from a different challenging background. Because of the challenging backgrounds, many of my students struggle with bringing the basic supplies they need for our classroom. Many of my students come into my classroom asking for homework, extra assignments, paper, and pencils to do them with.

My Project

In our classroom, our students are reaching for more engaging learning and we do not have all the supplies we need. I want them to have basic supplies as they are using the ones I have purchased for them quickly.

We also want to increase the use of whiteboards to do group guided practice.

As of right now, we do not have enough whiteboards or markers for everyone.

My students are reaching for the stars, and I want to be able to give them the resources to reach them. Please help our class succeed this year.
