My students need 6 tablets to help enhance their learning. Using technology for small group activities would really benefit my students. The covers go with our safari theme.

In my class, we value each other and support each other. Our classroom theme is "Safari," which means journey in Swahili. I love being a part of each child's journey and helping them learn and grow!
My students inspire me each and every day.
They are strong, capable, and wonderfully resilient. With over 95% poverty, my students face challenges and obstacles that they shouldn't have to, yet they still come to school and amaze me daily. The growth my students have made is fantastic and they are still eager to learn more!
My Project
Having a set of student tablets would open up a whole new world of possibilities for my class. These tablets would be used by students daily to enhance their learning and help them be more excited and engaged about their school work.
Technology is NOT the only answer, but it most definitely serves as an amazing tool to engage students and give them new resources for learning. These tablets would be used in small group activities and reading centers. Students would have the opportunity to use educational apps and read interactive books, amongst many other possibilities.
At times, getting students excited about school and learning can be a challenge.
Having the ability to implement another option would be an amazing way to get students interested and excited, while still being educational and meaningful. My favorite thing is when students get excited to do an educational activity and tablets would offer another tool for my kids to use, that they would see as fun and exciting!
