My students come to school every day wanting to learn. They are excited and curious about the world and how they can contribute to our classroom culture. I encourage my students to find and use their strengths to make the most difference and to also acknowledge their weaknesses and work hard to grow and improve.
Our students are leaders who have gifts and talents that will change our world!
A check box does not define them. We are a class composed of choir members, soccer players, gymnasts, musicians, artists, readers, chefs, jokers, mathematicians and scientists!
My Project
This September, my 90 math students will be learning from home. A Teachers Pay Teachers Gift card will allow me to purchase digital learning content that will engage my students in interactive online learning activities. Teachers with classroom experience have spent time designing virtual learning activities such as digital escape rooms and online team building lessons that will help my students work together to collaborate while learning math skills! I’m especially excited to see how students will raise their technological awareness while learning about numbers in base-ten, fractions, coordinate graphing, and geometry!
