My Project
Utilizing spatial reasoning skills is not always a skill that all students have. If they are not exposed to high-quality activities to challenge them in this area, they simply will not know how to do these sorts of things. My goal is to have activities for them to practice these skills so that when they take the cognitive aptitude test in second grade, they are on an equal playing field!
We need some magnetic cube puzzles to work on our spatial reasoning skills as well as stepping stones.
I work with first grade at the end of the year with a Higher Order Thinking Camp during the last weeks of school and this would be a great addition!
