This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be teaching AP Calculus for the first time to a group of amazing students who took my pre-Calculus class as juniors last school year. Teaching them was both a pleasure and a challenge because they collaborated, participated and asked questions that required me to do my best as their instructor.

The majority of these students plan to continue their careers in the STEM field, and I am going to prepare them well so that they can pass the AP Calculus exam and get credit for college.

However, I need to obtain excellent resources. Fortunately, I have found very engaging activities created by my colleagues from TeachersPayTeachers. Those activities require collaborative work among teams of students.
