My Project

How do you make students enjoy coming to speech? By making it a fun and inviting room and keeping them engaged. It can get boring repeating the same word over and over, unless it earns you a game piece or a chance to win a prize. Flexible seating keeps my students more likely to sit in place and focus on the task at hand. Incorporating games in language therapy keeps them engaged and they don’t realize they are learning in the process. I like to give my students a little incentive and what a cute way to do that than with a claw machine to grab a little prize! How fun!
