Engaging Students in Math with Inspiration & Innovation
I need resources for professional development, tech tools, and inspiring books to promote equity, growth mindset, and student engagement in math. These materials will help support my Algebra 1 students' learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
To revolutionize my classroom and foster a deeper, more personalized learning experience, I am seeking support to attend a cutting-edge professional development course focused on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. This course will provide me with the tools and strategies needed to create customized, interactive lessons that cater to each student’s pace, allowing them to master complex algebra concepts with ease. Additionally, I will learn to use AI for real-time assessments, offering immediate feedback that drives continuous improvement.
In addition to the professional development, I am requesting resources to further enrich my classroom environment, including books that showcase diverse role models, a computer for virtual learning, headphones for immersive experiences, and enhanced lighting to create a more focused atmosphere.
These resources will provide students with engaging content and the tools they need to excel.
By integrating AI and utilizing these materials, I will be able to create a classroom that empowers every student to reach their full potential. The combination of innovative teaching strategies and new resources will ensure students receive the individualized support they need while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom. This investment will help them grow academically and personally, setting them up for success both now and in the future.
