it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in Kindergarten and are curious and playful. They’re always ready to explore something new and love hands-on materials in the classroom. This year, I want to incorporate more hands on engineering and STEM activities in order to build their problem solving skills which also transfer to other disciplines, including science, technology, art and math. Learning engineering from a young age can help to build skills in other subjects, such as science and math. With the Literature STEM kits, they can discover the STEM in their favorite fairy tales—and naturally inspire them to explore each challenging situation until they find a solution!
