Help me give my students engaging and fun science literature about every day things.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Jones's classroom raised $221
This project is fully funded
My Project
My students need to further develop their reading skills in interpreting informational writing. Furthermore, they need to enjoy reading! Giving my students different options for obtaining science information will engage them in both reading and science content. Science book clubs in my class will be filled with exciting student discussion after reading the various stories offered in these texts!
These books will provide options for science literature that will entertain and engage students in concept-rich and unique stories.
Without the stigma and bad reputation that textbooks have, students will be more willing to start reading the books. From the the science of super heroes, to random body facts, to plant senses, these books will offer new ways of thinking about science ideas.
