Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our first-grade classroom is full of students who are motivated to take risks and grow as learners. Our diverse classroom includes military children, special education students, and second language learners.
I am always looking for new and innovative ways to ignite learning in our classroom and to meet the needs of each and every child.
My goal is to have these students walk away from this year with the confidence to go out there and be a world changer.
My Project
I will be working in small groups, meeting my students at their level, but also pushing them to extend their learning using these supplies once they leave their time with me.
These fun and engaging activities will give them ample time to collaborate with their classmates and deepen their understanding of concepts they are learning in class.
I hope that using these center activities will continue to build their confidence as readers and give them the extra practice that they need in order to feel successful in our classroom and beyond!
