It is my goal to get my students the best resources available. This year, a large portion of instruction centers around nonfiction reading and writing. My hope is that by the end of the year my students will crave nonfiction texts and information that will get them engaged and eager for new learning.

My students are hungry for engaging experiences and they take incredible pride in their school and their success. It is exciting watching them grow, question, and encourage one another.
My Project
With these nonfiction texts in my classroom, students will be able to dig deeper into topics that are highly interesting to each individual, and they will begin to understand text structures that will improve their comprehension.
These engaging texts will help students foster their passion for a topic, gain more knowledge to build on what they already know, and provide opportunities to share what they have learned in collaborative learning groups.
This project and its resources will allow my students so many more opportunities to grow their understanding and love of nonfiction reading.
