This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a low-income neighborhood teacher, I realize how resilient and amazing my students really are. My students' drive to learn is what inspires me every day to become a better teacher.
My students are clever, fun, and creative.
They think of new ways to do things and come up with their own strategies. Despite their amazing abilities, they are also faced with challenges. I cannot change the challenges they face daily, but I can make their classroom experience the best it can be. Just as they inspire me to continue to learn and grow, I make it my everyday challenge to inspire them to become who they want to be in life. I want to be able to provide engaging opportunities for my students to learn what they would otherwise not experience.
These materials will be used to create highly engaging fold-ables to place in their math notebooks. This will ensure studnets have access to the material in a way that ensures their success.
