This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking support to enhance our math instruction with engaging resources to make math enjoyable and effective for all students. With these materials, we will strengthen foundational skills, create dynamic small group activities, and improve classroom organization.

In our classroom, I strive to foster a positive learning environment where students can grow as critical thinkers and problem solvers.

Our current math resources are limited, and I need your help to fill in the gaps with essential tools that will support learning both individually and in small group settings.

Math Workbooks: These workbooks will provide students with valuable practice and problem-solving opportunities, helping to reinforce concepts learned during lessons. They offer a wide range of practice problems that target different learning styles, ensuring that each child is supported and challenged at their own level.

Math Games: Engaging math games will make learning fun and interactive. These games will help reinforce math concepts, such as multiplication, division, and geometry, while encouraging teamwork and collaboration. They are a great way to keep students motivated and excited about math.

Cabinet: To keep our learning space organized and efficient, we need a sturdy storage cabinet. With this cabinet, we can keep math manipulatives, workbooks, and games neatly stored and easily accessible for small group activities and center rotations.

Clocks for Rotations: The digital clocks will allow students to track time during our small group and center rotations. This will help them manage their time efficiently, making sure they stay on task and get the most out of each activity.

With these resources, my students will be able to engage with math in meaningful ways, whether they are practicing independently, collaborating in groups, or rotating through different activities. These materials will also help create a more organized, productive, and positive learning environment.
