Engaging Math Games for Future Mathematicians!

My Students

My students are the reason why I wake up with a smile every single morning. They are loving, thoughtful, selfless, and dedicated to learning. They believe in a bright future for our world and are future leaders of our nation. My students come from low income families whose parents are oftentimes Spanish-speaking immigrants and are wanting the best life for their children. I am here to show them that education can get you out of poverty, just like it did for me.

My Project

In 3rd grade, students are introduced to some major brand new concepts of multiplication, division, and fractions! My students are incredibly eager to learn these new concepts, and I have put this project together in hopes of providing some engaging and FUN manipulatives so that we can stay away from worksheets as much as possible! My 3rd graders respond really well to math games during center time and being able to have a wide selection of awesome review AND new concept games will keep them excited about math and help them understand these challenging new concepts in a new light!
