This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are working hard and looking to make the best out of the current situation. Technology has been hard on them..using it, depending on it, and accessing it. But they are trying to do the assignments online or on post and I’m want to try to make learning as fun as I can. I hear them all the time saying they miss the classroom and the fun work we used to do together. They also all want to be as prepared as they can before entering middle school. I am in need of some materials that can help them succeed either with packets being sent home or accessed as work to do online while trying to make learning fun!
My Project
As teachers we are looking for new an engaging ideas, sites and programs that can help our students while we are learning at a distance. Having access to materials, Teacher Pay Teacher gift card, that will help engage student learning while targeting standards in all academic areas is something teachers could use right now while juggling so much and students need to succeed and not feel so behind. Having quality materials made by fellow teachers is just the way to do that! We can find math, science, social-emotional, art, history and language arts lessons that will help students to stay engaged and ultimately help them to succeed!
