Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our elementary school, we have school-wide curriculum for English language arts and mathematics. We receive some resources and workbooks, but often need to supplement the lessons with additional material to make sure the students get adequate practice. The website Teachers Pay Teachers contains worksheets and resources made by fellow teachers to accompany curriculum. For example, we have decodable readers from our language arts curriculum called Wonders and through TPT, I can download material and worksheets to measure comprehension from the readers.
