Engaging Learners with Technology

My students need 5 Osmo's to support their learning during reading and math center time for independent practice. These are great technology tools to help with building words, working with numbers, and making pattern designs.

My Students

With the help of technology tools, my students will be more engaged in their independent learning. They will have a visual way to practice their reading and math skills.

I have a hard working group of students who want to do their best in everything they are learning.

I have a high poverty rate and free and reduced lunch population in my classroom. I also have a high percentage of ELL students. I want to provide technology based resources to make their learning more interactive.

My Project

With the technology tools I am requesting, my students will be able to work independently during reading and math center time. My students will be more engaged with their learning through the use of different technology tools. This will also be a great way to be creative with their learning.

They will practice word building by manipulating letter tiles, create number sentences by manipulating number tiles, and build pattern designs by manipulating shape tiles.

The Osmo will be a tool to keep them engaged during their independent practice time. Students will work harder and be more motivated when given new technology resources. This will also make them more enthusiastic about their learning.
