Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I remember when math used to consist of putting a pencil to paper. Now students are faced with a new way of learning, and it is essential to have access to new technology in order to keep up with the demands of writing in education.
My students are eager to learn something new every day and come to school ready to meet the challenges I give them.
They receive explicit instruction in the different areas of math, science, and literacy.
My Project
This Apple Mac Book Pro will be used as a math and science center. My students will be able to put their fingers and minds to work and make their math and science learning exciting. They will research a variety of high interest topics, acquire images to go with their projects and classroom assignments.
Your donations to this project will improve our classroom by giving my students a powerful tool that will engage them in the math and science curriculum.
This Apple MacBook Pro will also encourage them to explore math and science in new ways as per the Common Core MATH Standards and the new NGSS Science Standards.
