Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I am requesting are materials needed due to an increase in class sizes. In order for the students to engage authentically in their ecosystems and energy flow labs, they need the proper amount of resources. The extra owl pellets and dissecting needles will allow the students to be in smaller groups and still have the proper equipment and materials needed to learn in a timely manner. Many students do not like to touch the pellets, so the gloves will be useful for them to feel safe and sanitary.
Excitingly, there has been an increase in the number of students taking my AP Environmental Science class, and we need more materials for labs!
The soil analyzer will allow for more groups to have the digital meters they need, and share less, to take data at a quicker pace. Having these extra materials will greatly increase time efficiency.
