My Project

Interactive notebooks are awesome! They can encourage active learning, and increase menory retention and recall because interactive notes are multi-sensory and can help my students to take ownership of their learning. I use interactive notebooks daily in my classroom. My notebooks help teach students to organize their thoughts.

Interactive notebooks allow students to process information given to them by assisting them with organizing their thoughts.

By writing their own notes down, students remember the lesson more, and can recall the information more readily by reviewing their notes and writing their reflection on what they learned each day.

Interactive notebooks encourage my students to be successful in math by allowing them to use hands on strategies to comprehend and processes the new knowledge that they are being taught in class. Having these essential materials to create interactive notebooks will help enhance student's investment and engagement in their education.
