This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are truly amazing! They are dealing with a variety of health and behavioral challenges that prevent them from attending school. I travel to their individual homes to work with them 1:1. It can be tough for a child to sit alone with a teacher in their kitchen or living room; my goal is to make their learning engaging and help them achieve as much as they can in the little time they have. This iPad will help tremendously to maximize engagement and learning.
This iPad will keep learning new and exciting for these students who have so little opportunity.
Whether the individual is quadriplegic, battling cancer, or medically fragile, he or she still deserves the best education possible. An iPad has an endless amount of versatility to use with preK-12 special education students of all ability levels, especially those who have difficulty using their chromebooks. And the Otterbox case and extra screen protector will ensure that this iPad will be protected as it is used by students for years to come.
