My Project
My students are creative, curious, and eager to engage in hands-on learning experiences. Through this project, I want to provide them with tools that will make history come alive in a meaningful and interactive way. The calligraphy set and wax seal kit will allow students to step into the shoes of historical figures by practicing writing and sealing letters just as it was done in the past. These activities will not only teach them about historical communication but also help improve their writing skills. The tactile, creative nature of this project will spark their interest in history, allowing them to form a personal connection to the content they are learning.
My students come from diverse backgrounds, and giving them this opportunity to explore history in such an interactive way will enhance their appreciation for the past and inspire them to see history as more than just facts in a book.
