Help me give my students voice and choice with engaging literacy centers that will ensure they are actively engaged, having fun and learning all at the same time!
My 4th grade students are full of personality and very enthusiastic about learning. Creative, energetic and curious are words I would use to describe my students. We are a classroom full of authors, explorers, historians, poets, teachers and leaners.
Our school is a brand new campus!
It will serve as a "home away from home" for so many of our students and staff. The families we serve want their students to have the best education possible.
My Project
The Texas History Readers Theater Scripts will allow students to reinforce our 4th grade Social Studies curriculum while practicing a variety of reading and speaking skills. My vision is students will perform and publish these performances on our class blog.
The engaging, hands-on literacy stations will ensure students are actively engaged in meaningful activities, and learning while I pull small groups.
The conversation cards are to encourage a positive classroom community amongst students.
