My Project
My fourth grade students are an amazing group. They are inquisitive, hard-working, and full of personality. Our class also has a wide range of student needs, including students who are English Language Learners and diverse learners.
To help ensure that all students are successful, we would love to add an interactive TV to our classroom.
Our current technology is limited to a projector and screen. We recently rolled out a new reading curriculum, and we will start a new math curriculum next year. Lessons have many opportunities for students to underline root words, annotate texts, and manipulate on-screen content. With our projector and screen, the ability to use these features is minimal at best.
With a new interactive TV, we will be able to mark up texts, review decoding and word work tasks, and participate in problem-based learning tasks. Students will be able to easily share their learning with their peers so all students can see, and as a teacher, I can more easily integrate technology in instruction.
