Engaging Equipment for Active Recess

Help me give my students engaging equipment to enhance outdoor learning. Recess is a very important time in the day because children have the ability to communicate, play, and collaborate together.

My Project

My goal this year is to get my students more active and to get a true outside experience. They tend to spend a lot of time on electronics both in school and at home. Some of them don't ever go outside to play.

I would like them to get out and enjoy recess the old-school way!

We are going to learn recess games, how to problem solve, and teamwork work with the recess items, hula hoops, and jump ropes we need. Instead of just sitting on the playground, we are going to PLAY!

My students really enjoy learning new things, and I know this would apply to recess games as well. They catch on quickly, and I can't wait to see what they will do with new games outside.
