Help me give my students a hands on science learning experience! Students will never forget what they've learned about electricity when they get to build and design their own circuts and read engaging books about electricity!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
In 4th grade, we learn about energy. One of our focuses is on electricity and how to build circuits. Using worksheets and watching videos isn't enough to make this important topic meaningful.
When students get the opportunity to build their own circuits and witness first hand how electricity works, they'll be sure to remember what they've learned well beyond 4th grade.
Students need to experience this concept in order to appreciate, understand, and build curiosity about a subject that now rules our day to day life. Having these materials will make science fun and learning about electricity more effective.
