Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of my students like to read graphic novels but I first want them to love chapter books without so many pictures. That way, students can imagine what the characters look like and act like. In this way, students can be more creative and use their imagination.
My second and third grade students need books that are both fiction and nonfiction.
The books selected for this project are classic books with central messages and filled with important details. I know that my students will enjoy reading these books and learn about people and events from the past.
