This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a special place with amazing children who love to read and value books. We have nourished readers and we love to see them grow through quality reading materials.

I am the new librarian at Warner Elementary and have gone through the collection noting the old-style chapter books from the 80s and need to put an updated spin on the shelves.

I've been a librarian for 10 years and know kids love engaging titles. Let's work together to get some fun ones in their hands! Thank you for any help you can provide.

My Project

The titles in this collection are popular and engaging. When kids see characters who are fun and experiencing similar life moments whether silly or serious they are more likely to read. Help us put these books in kids' hands.

Let's continue their reading journey by getting popular titles in their hands and building on their interests. DWK and Dog Man along with classics encourage to take books out of the library and step away from screens to read. I can't imagine a better way to support students in 2020 and 2021.
