My Project

This summer I will be teaching 5th grade reading strategies to kids who are going into Middle School next year. These books will help assure that my students stay engaged by offering high-interest books that they will enjoy reading.

Help to build the love of reading to 5th graders through interesting, engaging, diverse books.

By purchasing books that are interesting, even the most reluctant readers will find themselves enjoying summer school by getting lost in text.

With these books I hope to promote lifelong reading, and a joy of reading along with the strategies necessary for my students to be successful in Middle School.
