My students need sets of books to conduct Book Clubs in our small group intervention group such as The BFG, The Magic Finger, and Stay Out of the Basement.

My Students
My students attend a diverse, inclusive, and amazing Title I school in upstate New York. I am in my 14th year teaching in this wonderful school district!
I teach students with special needs in 4th and 5th grade who are truly amazing!
They work hard, but struggle with a variety of subject areas. I work with intermediate students to provide additional support in Math and Literacy. I work with an All-Star staff and I'm lucky to work with many of the classrooms in my school.
All of the students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. Also, all of the students I work with always try their best each and every day. The students at my school are fantastic and I truly love working with them so much!
My Project
I am so excited for this project. My students are in fifth grade and are reading at a second grade level. My students want to read the same books that their peers are reading. We brainstormed some books and authors that they would like to read and Goosebumps and Roald Dahl were the winners.
These books will be read from now until the end of the year and we will read them in the years to come as well.
Students will take turns reading the books as well as discussing them while reading. Students have been excited about book clubs and these titles are some of their favorites that they can not wait to read!
