Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I want to transform my traditional classroom space into a dynamic learning environment with the introduction of flexible bands, floor cushions, and essential school supplies.
The flexible bands attached to student chairs, will promote active learning and enhance focus by providing students with a discreet outlet for movement Complementing the flexibility of the bands are the floor cushions which I will strategically place around the classroom, offering students a cozy and inviting alternative to traditional seating arrangements.
With the freedom to choose their preferred seating option, students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning environment, fostering a sense of comfort and belonging. Paired with an abundance of school supplies readily accessible to all, from colorful markers to handy notebooks, I hope to create a nurturing and inclusive space where creativity and academic growth go hand in hand.
