My Students
In my classroom, there are 22 hardworking, bright, caring, energetic students. They come from a variety of backgrounds and family dynamics. At my elementary school, 94% of students fall in as poverty status and 10% of the students are homeless.
The students in my classroom are all capable of learning and are able to set goals, make plans and reach these goals with hard work.
My students come to school everyday because they are motivated and eager to learn. I love all of the different personalities and varying capabilities that walk through my door every morning.
My Project
The Breakout EDU kit that we are asking for contains a box that comes with a collection of locks, hidden contraptions, timers, keys and other hardware that can be used to play the educational game. The Breakout EDU Kit will allow my students to receive engaging academic experience like no other! This kit allows the students to participate in gaming activities in a meaningful way. Students will work together and critically think to solve one mission which is to open the locked box.
These 'breakouts' can be used to teach core academic subjects including math, English, science and social students and have embedded standards that apply problem solving strategies within a real world or collaborative context.
Breakout EDU is the immersive learning games platform that is transforming teaching and learning in the classroom around the world. Students will learn the skills that they need to succeed.
