My Students

My Kindergarten students are always eager to learn and play! They desire FUN in the increasing academic nature of school today.

My little "Kindergarten Cuties" would love to play as they learn, and a new iPad would greatly benefit their day!

Our school is in a rural community with many students coming from low income families. We are located in South Louisiana in Cajun country where fishing, hunting, and playing outside reign supreme. In order to be more appropriate for the age level of my kids, active learning must occur. Getting them developmentally appropriate materials will not only help their minds develop, but also enrich their playful souls!

My Project

A new iPad would greatly help students work with electronic resources that we use at center time. They would be able to learn new skills as well as remediate and enrich prior learning. Students would have greater access to programs that we use in class for Math, Reading, Writing, and other learning objectives. The otterbox would ensure the iPad would be able to be used for many years to come. With these students being so connected to technology, the iPad would motivate them to learn while connecting their learning to the fast-paced nature they are used to when using electronics.
