Help me give my students boogie boards (writing notepads that are an alternative to whiteboards) and much more to offer some fun ways to engage students in learning.

My Students

Fun, active, and adaptable fourth graders will be back at school this fall and ready to learn. I am currently anticipating a class of 21 students with continual growth. As we are steadfast in our learning, we are promoting positive attitudes, accountability, and diverse learning opportunities.

My Project

Whiteboards are used daily during math instruction, but often times markers are dried up or lost, and erasers are always being misplaced. Boogie Boards offer an alternative with a pen being attached and no eraser needed. Students enjoy working with them in small groups and are excited to show their work. Offering this as a whole group will get students ready to show what they learn without all the fuss of looking for materials.

Often time students don't like showing their thinking on paper because it is a lot of work, but students will look forward to sharing their work on their new Boogie Boards.

Who doesn't like a good theme? All other materials such as the black lights and glow sticks will be used for theme day activities that will promotive positive learning experiences at school. Students will have learning opportunities while being social with each other and engaged.
