This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard workers who strive to be and do their best. My students walk in daily with a smile on their face, ready to face the difficulties of science that I throw at them. Though the topics we discuss are difficult for them, they still strive to be successful.

My students try their hardest to be successful, but they sometimes lack the tools to reach their fullest potential.

Being at a Title I school with students who come from many different backgrounds and cultures, I strive to open their eyes to whatever interests them, so that they can be successful in their future.

My Project

Having a tablet in the classroom will help my students become more self reliant, increase engagement, and help students by being an incentive to utilize the tablet. Incorporating technology in our classroom will help the students prepare for their future, which will be intertwined in various pieces of technology.

Transitioning into a more STEM-centered classroom leaves room for various learning opportunities, which can be drastically improved by multiple technology in the classroom!

By receiving a tablet, students can work together in a project, participate in interactive online activities, and more. Having this project funded will increase productivity, ability for research, the possibilities are endless!
