This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we begin a new school year, one of my top priorities is helping students become active, engaged participants in their learning. When students feel involved, they're more likely to retain information, take pride in their work, and develop a love for learning. To support this goal, I'm hoping to stock our classroom with essential supplies that will make learning more interactive, creative, and effective. Items like colored pencils, art supplies, pens, and Post-it notes will allow students to express their ideas, work collaboratively, and stay organized. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts—visual tools that reinforce key concepts and remain displayed as helpful references throughout the year. Additionally, laminating pouches will allow us to create durable, reusable materials like educational games, vocabulary cards, and graphic organizers.

By having these materials readily available, students will have the tools they need at their fingertips to thrive academically and creatively.
