My Students

My wonderful 4th graders are eager to learn. They come to school excited to be there with friends and peers. With the pandemic hitting during an important stage in their development as students and children, these kids have bounced back in ways that inspire me. I had them as 3rd graders and looped with them into the 4th grade. Watching them progress in all subject areas has been empowering. Kids are resilient.

My Project

These students have rebounded from a pandemic that has disrupted a vital stage in their development. These resources will directly effect student engagement as the materials align with our school curriculum. Creating a fun and exciting learning environment helps students participate but also remember the content. The requested materials will provide opportunities for growth in several areas in and out of the classroom. Expanding exposure to new literature is important for students as they experiment with different genres. My goal is to continually add to our classroom library. I would love to begin a reading and listening station using computers and headphones for students to be read to as they follow along. Each resource would have a specific purpose and would be greatly appreciated!
