My fourth-graders rotate between me, and three other teachers. We focus on social studies and science in my classroom. My students are hungry for a way to engage themselves in social studies and science.
My students go to school in southern Ohio.
We are about 50 minutes east of Cincinnati. Our school is really like a family we are pretty small, but we are definitely a close-knit group. We'd love to learn even more, apply ourselves, and have a great year.
We are in fourth grade, and are currently concentrating on social studies and science. Ms. Long has three different sections of us a day. She has to successfully differentiate, collaboration, and accommodate to our needs. That is why we need these donations!
My Project
We will use the science solar system to reflect on when making references and going through lessons. We plan to suspend it from the ceiling and look up when need be. We will be using the books as a springboard, to activate prior knowledge and get ready for a great lesson, whether it be Science or Social Studies. We are trying to find engaging messages to deeply involve ourselves in our learning.
This will make a difference because it is going to trigger my students, they will develop a passion for science and social studies.
It will provide them with the necessary skills they need to master their objectives. It will also help many students for years to come. More importantly it will ensure no students are left behind!
