My Students

The students in my kindergarten through second grade, Special Education class have created a place where everyone is accepted, mistakes are praised and fair means getting what you need. Every single student is unique in their own way which creates a class with a wide range of strengths, interests and preferences.

One thing they all have in common is that my students absolutely love being hands-on and exploring the world around them.

The more they are able to physically manipulate or find a connection between their own lives to something, the more they are successful with understanding new subjects!

My Project

These materials are designed to engage students in the areas of reading and math. Each game or activity is focusing on a specific skill that my students need to learn. These activities additionally help give my students access to the general education curriculum in a way that is fun and motivating. Not only do these activities help with reading and math, but they also assist students with fine motor, following directions and many other crucial foundational skills.

Having motivation and engagement increases the likelihood of success!
