Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are GOLD! Most of my students come from a low-income backgrounds, but despite the challenges they face they are always willing to try their best. My students are filled with excitement and have a passion for learning. They are all very different, not only in their personalities, but how they learn. My classroom is so diverse. I teach students with disabilities, students who are gifted and talented, and students with economic disadvantages.
With this project, I want each of my students to know that school can be a fun place to learn and that there are people who care about them and their education.
I want to give my students fun, encouraging, and engaging learning experiences. The best way I can do that is to create a lifelong love for learning.
My Project
Students need engaging lessons to love learning. I believe that if we make learning fun, it will inspire students to work hard and achieve success. This project will be used to promote "Fun Fridays" in my classroom. This will be the first year my littles will be taking their state assessment test, so my plan for "Fun Fridays" is to review skills we've already learned in Reading & Math while having a party!

Learning can be so much fun when you create a lesson that inspires and engages students. My project includes black lights, glow sticks, pencils, markers, pens, lights, highlighters, post it and incentives for participaton. With such a diverse learning community in my class I want to be able to reach all my students. I want my students to have learning experiences that they will remember forever!
