Engaged Learners Through Movement Opportunities

My Students

The students in my classroom come to me with a range of learning styles, abilities and talents interested in learning through flexible seating and increased engagement.The class is a mix of boys and girls who love moving around, being active learners and who come from all different backgrounds. They love using flexible seating to stay engaged. These students are excited to be learning in a Learner Active Technology-Infused classroom. Typical day in the classroom, is allowing the students to own their learning. I want my students to be actively engaged and provided with opportunities to learn through 21st century classroom. We are in need of flexible seating to keep engagement at it's highest.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to experience movement and flexible seating while engaged in lessons. Students will be able to focus more, keep motivated and excited to learn by having these additional seating opportunities. Students will be more engaged if they need movement in order to be focused and successful on their daily routines in school. By having these resources to use my students will be able to experience learning in environment that supports their needs, learning style and unique abilities on a daily basis as engaged learners in the everyday classroom.
