Engaged Learners are Focused Learners!

Help me give my students access to learning on a portable whiteboard in my classroom. I plan to use this for classroom anchor charts and diagrams during lessons.

My Project

I consider myself an "animated" teacher who gets excited when teaching my students. I enjoy using individual whiteboards in the classroom during games and competitions to keep students accountable. I use anchor charts frequently, and currently, the only way I have to "build" an anchor chart with my students is to use the project at the front of my classroom with a document camera and a piece of paper. This does not result in a chart that students can see in the classroom after it is made.

Having a portable whiteboard and anchor chart stand would provide me with the ability to create anchor charts "in the moment" with my students.

It also allows the option for students to participate in not only anchor charts, but also other graphics such as line graphs, bar graphs, etc, for surveys or Science lessons. Seeing the graphs created is much more effective than seeing a completed graph to introduce a topic. It also allows me to move around the room for increased student engagement.
