This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The carpet area is where many engaged learners sit for learning and wonderful read-alouds from me, their teacher. A new and vibrant rug is an area they can feel proud to learn on. Knowing they have a proper area for learning can be so motivating and will allow for proper spacing and alternative seating to complete classwork or read their favorite books.
The addition of a new flip chart stand will enhance my teaching, as well as their learning by allowing me to utilize flip charts necessary for engagement and they will also utilize this tool by becoming engaged in the lesson; whether we are building sentences, blending sounds to make words, or solving math equations.
