Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I aim to design a learning space where students feel inspired to explore, empowered to participate, and supported to self-regulate. These classroom supplies are carefully chosen to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. With flexible seating, students have the freedom to choose spaces that help them focus and feel comfortable. Manipulatives and building blocks encourage hands-on learning, problem-solving, and creativity. Board games promote cooperation, strategic thinking, and social skills, while Play-Doh and calming posters provide outlets for stress relief and emotional regulation. Book storage helps foster a love of reading by making books accessible and inviting.

The goal of this project is to cultivate a classroom that balances joyful learning with calm, focused energy—a space where every child feels safe, seen, and excited to grow.

Together, these supplies create a dynamic, supportive environment where students can explore, engage, and thrive in their own unique ways.
