Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students have good hearts. They have rough lives but come into my room with a smile. We are PIRATES (Prepared, Informed, Responsible, And, Totally, Efficient) this year and it has been amazing.

The focus is our top priority for our students.

As much as we try to get comfortable in the classroom and adapt to what we have and I love them for it. I know that it would be a blessing to have the correct size seating for our classroom. These children are so appreciative of everything I bring into the classroom. I would really like to give them more flexible seating that is comfortable and just their size.

My Project

My students love to sit at my table to learn. We need some more flexible seats for a more comfortable learning experience. These wobble chairs will complete my table and my students will love them.

My belief is that if my students are comfortable in their seating then their minds are more focused on the education being taught to them, and less on their aching body from sitting in a hard chair.

The wobble chairs also allow students to move without distracting others. Wobble chairs are also safer to sit on than other flexible seats. I believe these seats will be an asset in our learning environment.
