This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are the most deserving and wonderful children. Many come from situations that are out of their control and have to grow up too fast. They deserve everything I could possibly give them and more. They push through every obstacle and continue to work hard and prove everyone else wrong. I am so proud to work in a school with such wonderful teachers, staff and most importantly, students. Please help me give these kids everything they deserve and more!

My Project

My students LOVE games. Math can be difficult for some students but these math games will help all of my students build their fluency and confidence with various math concepts such as multiplication, division, etc. My class will be using these games on a daily basis to support what we are leaning in class. We will be using these games in center and as a whole group to really help them understand and apply the math concepts they are learning not only while playing the game but also in their everyday life. When you engage them in learning they retain and apply it.
