My Project

Our class is full is students with different backgrounds and interests. This year I have several reluctant readers who become engaged when the books they are offered are on their preferred reading subject.

Books about Lamborghinis and other cars will ignite a love of reading for many students in my classroom.

Yesterday a parent told me they realized their child was a more advanced reader than they had let on at home when their kiddo got a book at a higher level on a topic of their interest. Kids are most motivated to read and engage in books when they can't resist the topic. The clear plastic shelves showcase the new exciting books on display. This project is written specifically for reluctant readers this year who will LOVE these books so much they will be determined to improve their skills so they can engage with their favorite topic - cars!
