This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The binders I'm requesting will support my students in developing their study and organizational abilities. As an AVID educator, my focus lies in preparing students for college and post-secondary education, while also working to bridge the educational opportunity gap for those from low-income backgrounds.

One effective method I employ to cultivate strong study habits is by introducing interactive notebooks to my students.

These notebooks are structured into sections such as a table of contents, morning work, notes, and glossary. This approach aids students in acquiring essential organizational skills, fostering increased efficiency and productivity.

Introducing students to the importance of organization early on instills in them crucial skills that will serve them well in college, technical school, and beyond.
