Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Imagine sitting in a classroom, with 25 children, not being able to follow and keep up with your classmates.
My kindergarten students with disabilities would benefit from assistive technology in the classroom.
My students are engaged by hands-on learning and are motivated through the use of positive reinforcement. My special needs students live in a low-income neighborhood with a strong language barrier that makes it hard to learn.
My Project
Using the iPad, students will be able to maximize their learning through the use of interactive applications. The iPad contains educational software that allows students to learn in ways that fit their educational needs. The iPad has many options for a variety of disabilities.
My students live in a low-income area.
Donations for this iPad will allow students to have an opportunity that they otherwise would not have. They will be able to learn material in a variety of ways that can change their lives forever.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
